Płock Voivodeship (1495–1793)

The Płock Voivodeship ( Polish: WojewĂłdztwo Płockie, Latin: Palatinus Plocensis ) was an administrative unit in the province of Wielkopolska the Kingdom of Poland or Poland - Lithuania. It was established in 1495 and existed until 1793, it was calculated together with Rawa and the actual Mazovia region of Mazovia.; the Sejm deputies of the three provinces met regularly in Warsaw at a Generalsejmik. Seat of the voivode was the city of Płock.

In the course of the Second Partition of Poland in 1793, the largest part of the territory to Prussia, where it was incorporated into the newly formed province of South Prussia.

After the Congress of Vienna Płock was again the seat of a voivodeship.
