Plounéour-Ménez

Plounéour- Menez ( Breton Plouneour- Menez ) is a commune with 1287 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the north of Brittany, in the Finistère.

Geography

The place is located on the northern edge of the ridge Monts dArree Armorica Regional Nature Park (in French Parc naturel régional d' Armorica ) and is home to the Roc'h Ruz the highest mountain in Brittany. The Atlantic coast of the Bay Rade de Morlaix is well 22 kilometers (km) north. Morlaix is 16 km north, 45 km west Brest and Paris, about 450 km to the east (in straight line ). In the municipality stems from the River Penzé.

Infrastructure

In Morlaix and Pleyber-Christ himself departures are on the highway E 50 (Brest - Rennes) and regional stations in the predominantly parallel railway line. Near the cities of Brest and Rennes are regional airports.
