Plumtree is a small town in Zimbabwe, in the province of Matabeleland South to the border with Botswana. The city is the administrative center of its region and the seat of a court. It is conveniently located at the intersection of seven major roads, a railway line and has a 1000 m long unpaved airstrip.

Cecil Rhodes is 75 km east lying Matobo National Park, part of the Matopo Mountains, buried.
