Plural Left

Gauche plurielle (Eng. diverse left ) was the name of an alliance of left parties in France, Lionel Jospin, having won the election to the National Assembly in 1997 made ​​possible the election of the Prime Minister. Jospin followed the conservative Alain Juppe claimed and ruled with his cabinet at least five years under conditions of cohabitation with the conservative President Jacques Chirac.
