PMR-3 mine

PMR -3

The PMR -3 is a stick mine produced in the former Yugoslavia and used during the Yugoslav Wars, from the kind of anti-personnel mines. It is the enhanced successor model to the PMR -2.

Description

The mine body of the PMR -3 is made of steel and has a cylindrical shape, the bottom has a conical shape. The upper side is closed by a domed cap with a central hole for the ignitor. In the steel body six grooves are screwed. Side two retaining bolts are used to set up the mine body on the aluminum floor. The mine can be fitted depending on the location and use with the igniter up or down, thus the height of the trigger wire changes. Top center protrudes out of the screwed- train - pressure igniter, whose four steel pins protruding form the printing surface.

Detonator and use

The PMR -3 can UPMR -3 bezündert and UPROM 1 with the two train - pressure detonators, the latter is the same fuze which is used in the Spring Mine PROM -1.
