PNE Wind AG (formerly Plambeck Neue energies) with headquarters in Cuxhaven is a listed wind farm developer; the company plans and implements wind farm projects on land ( onshore) and at sea (offshore). Its core competence in the development, planning, implementation and financing of wind farms and their operation or sale is with subsequent service. The company is active in Germany, the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.

Operations

So far, the company has installed 100 wind farms with 575 wind turbines and a total capacity of around 828 MW. In addition to the activities in the established German home market, PNE Wind increasingly investing in dynamic growth markets and is represented through subsidiaries and joint ventures in Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. In these countries, wind farm projects are processed with a rated output of more than 2,000 MW, to be implemented in the medium term. In Germany ( onshore) wind farm projects with around 1,100 MW in the processing.

PNE Wind has fully developed and built an onshore wind farm, this is completely sold out in the rule. Nevertheless, the company offers after completion and commissioning, to take on the technical and commercial management. The aim of the technical management is to monitor wind turbines on behalf of customers to detect errors early and avoid downtime. In the commercial management of the company takes care of all accounting management for the owner. In the management to December 2010 299 wind turbines were taken with a total capacity of 462 MW and two biogas plants with a total of 1 MW.

Furthermore, PNE Wind offshore wind farm projects, of which four major projects have already been approved in German waters. History

In 1979, Norbert Plambeck with his father Otto Plambeck a group of companies. To this group belonged, since 1995, the " wind farm marshland GmbH", their first wind farm in Nordleda completed it in 1997 and 1998 under the name New Plambeck energies went public. Plambeck New Energies AG was initially a wholly owned subsidiary of Plambeck Holding AG. To the Board belonged 1998-2008 Wolfgang von Geldern, who had also accompanied the IPO of AG together with Norbert Plambeck.

In 2000, the brand was exceeded by 100 MW of installed power rating and 2004, the building permit for the first offshore wind farm project ( OWP ) "Borkum Reef Ground I" granted. 2006 took place then the building permit for the OWP "Gode Wind I" and the total installed capacity amounted to 500 MW. In 2007 the company expanded its activities in the international arena and sets up joint ventures in the Southeast European countries Bulgaria, Hungary and Turkey. In 2008, the company sold its stake in SSP Technology A / S, a Danish manufacturer of rotor blades, and since then focused exclusively on the wind farm project. The expansion of internationalization progresses through the establishment of branches in the UK, Romania and the USA.

The renaming in PNE Wind took place in March 2009 and the family Plambeck, and Plambeck Holding have since completely excreted. In the same year PNE Wind gets the building permit for the OWP "Gode Wind II". 2011 chose the Scottish Forestry Administration (FCS ) PNE WIND as a partner for the development of wind farms in Central Scotland, and it came to the sale of the OWP "Nautilus II". In August of the following year in 2012 PNE Wind sold the offshore wind farm projects "Gode Wind" I - III at the Danish company Dong Energy at a purchase price of 157 million euro.

In April 2013, the Company announced that it has acquired a 54% at the Husum competitors WK Nord AG. This participation has been extended slightly above 82 % later. In July of the same year was completed successfully with the completion and commissioning of the wind farm "Long -tailed II" of the 100th wind farm project of PNE WIND.

In September 2013, PNE Wind AG took over three offshore wind farm projects in the North Sea from wind energy companies BARD Engineering GmbH for 17 million euros.

Since 1998, PNE Wind on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is listed. At the end of 2001, the price rose in XETRA to the equivalent of 40 euros, but fell in the following years to less than one tenth. Since 24 September 2007, the shares are listed in ÖkoDAX. More than 90 % of the shares are in free float, the Baden -Württemberg Versorgungsanstalt for doctors, dentists and veterinarians holds about 3% of the voting rights and the Volker Friedrichsen -Beteiligungs-GmbH 6.61% of the voting rights (as of July 2013). It traded 200,000 shares / day.

The share is also listed in the Lower Saxon stock index NISAX20, and in RENIXX World, which PNE WIND is one of the world's 30 major listed companies from the renewable energy industry.

The lowest rate was in 2012 at 1.32 euro. After it became known that the offshore projects, " Gode Wind" I sold to III to the Danish energy company DONG Energy, doubled within four months of the current price. For the financial year 2012 a dividend of EUR 0.10 per share was paid. The shares of PNE WIND is traded in the Prime Standard segment.

Capital measures

PNE WIND issued in May 2013 a bond (WKN / ISIN: A1R074 / DE000A1R0741 ) to finance organic and inorganic growth, especially of the purchase price for the acquisition of a majority stake in WKN AG. The volume was approximately 66.3 million euro in the denomination of € 1,000 and an issue price of 100 %. The bond has a coupon rate of 8 % per annum equipped and has a term of five years, maturing on June 1, 2018., the rating agency Euler Hermes has assessed the PNE WIND AG with a BBB rating and thus given an " investment grade". The bond of a "regulated market" for corporate bonds issued by Deutsche Börse is traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the market segment.

The convertible bond 2010/2014 of PNE WIND AG ( ISIN: DE000A1EMCW3 ) was placed in the amount of 26 million euros and is broken up into partial debentures of 100 euros. The interest rate is 6.5% per annum with a maturity of 16 June 2010 to 31 December 2014, the interest is paid on the 1st of January of the following year.

The convertible bond 2009/2014 of PNE WIND AG ( ISIN: DE000A0Z1MR2 ) was placed in the amount of 3.8 million euros and is broken up into partial debentures of 100 euros. The interest rate is 7 % per annum with a maturity of 17 July 2009 to 16 July 2014 in accordance with the Interest is paid on 1 January of the following year.
