Pobjoy R
The Pobjoy R was a British air-cooled 7- cylinder radial engine, which was developed and produced by Pobjoy Airmotors. Brought to market in 1926, it was in the 1930s, to a commonly used engine that was used in light and small aircraft. The patch to the motor housing the reduction gear made it possible to operate the engine in terms of performance in a low- high speed range. Due to the transmission, the propeller shaft joined eccentrically out of the engine. The oil supply to the engine was a dry sump lubrication.
