Pobjoy R

The Pobjoy R was a British air-cooled 7- cylinder radial engine, which was developed and produced by Pobjoy Airmotors. Brought to market in 1926, it was in the 1930s, to a commonly used engine that was used in light and small aircraft. The patch to the motor housing the reduction gear made ​​it possible to operate the engine in terms of performance in a low- high speed range. Due to the transmission, the propeller shaft joined eccentrically out of the engine. The oil supply to the engine was a dry sump lubrication.
