Poetic Justice (film)

The film drama Poetic Justice from 1993 is about a young American woman from the South Central District of Los Angeles, whose friend is killed in revenge by members of a rival gang in front of your eyes, and their efforts to process the experience.

Action

Justice mourns her boyfriend and decides to go on to college, but to work in a hair salon. To combat her depression, she writes poems. Her friend Iesha she persuaded, Chicago and Lucky to make her a bus trip from the South Central District of Los Angeles to Oakland to get away from the embossed transfer of their ghetto environment for a while.

Justice comes with Lucky's kind initially nothing but headaches. Justice is afraid of being hurt and Lucky is constantly striving to maintain his macho image. With increasing distance to their old environment, opening up for both new worlds and horizons. Justice realizes that she is not alone but, as it has previously believed.
