Pogrodzie

Pogrodzie ( German Neukirch height ) is a village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Tolkmicko ( German Tolkemit ) in the district of Elbląg ( German Elblag ). The village has 660 inhabitants.

Location

Pogrodzie located at the junction of highways No. 503 and No. 504 After Tolkmicko in the North West is 7 km away and Frombork located 10 km to the northeast.

History

By 1945 Pogrodzie East Prussia was associated. In the years 1975-1998 the town administratively belonged to the province of Elbląg.

Attractions

The Church in Pogrodzie dates from the second half of the fourteenth century. The current neo- Gothic building was constructed in the years 1778-1789. The pulpit inside the church comes from 1650th There is also a painting of St. Nicholas of Joseph Korzeniewski.
