Point Pleasant is a Borough, that is a municipality in Ocean County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. In 2010, Point Pleasant had 18,392 inhabitants.

History

Point Pleasant was established as the Borough for a referendum on 19 May 1920. In 1925, the Point Pleasant Canal was completed. This channel is part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.
