Poisonblack

Marco Sneck (born 19 October 1978) is a Finnish musician. He became known as the keyboardist of Kalmah and Poisonblack.

Biography

In 1993 he started at age 14, to learn the keyboard. At the beginning he makes techno, until about 1995, he began to be interested in Metal. In 1999, he joined the progressive metal band Mental Voice, a short time later he adds the power metal band Afterworld. In autumn 2001, Mental Voice recorded a first demo and played a few concerts. In the autumn of 2002 appeared a second demo. Also in 2002, took Sneck for the piece of Guilt and Regret on Sentenced album The Cold White Light a piano track on. In 2003, Marco joined the band Sneck Slippery When Wet and Poisonblack. Of 23 September 2003 on Marco Sneck played on a tour for Charon keyboard. In the spring of 2004 came Janne Kuzmin, who played at this time in Kalmah, as a drummer for Mental Voice, simultaneously replaced Marco Pasi Sneck Hiltula as a keyboardist with Kalmah. In 2005 he played as a session musician with reflection. In 2006, he founded the band Stargazery. He also played for some time at Ferocia.

Models

Rhapsody and Dream Theater have had a strong influence on the sound ideal of Marco Sneck. In particular, Jens Johansson of Yngwie Malmsteen and Stratovarius, Alex Staropoli Rhapsody, Jordan Rudess, Richard Andersson and Damien Gregori Cradle of Filth are keyboardist who have influenced him.

Marco Sneck works with the Workstation Korg Trinity Pro and plays the keyboards Roland XV- 5050 and Roland RS- ninth
