POJETA peak is about 1500 m high peak in the center of Weber's peak in the West Antarctic Heritage Range. It is located about 2 miles ( 3.7 km ) southeast of Bingham Peak.
POJETA peak was named by the U.S. Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after John POJETA, Jr., who worked as a paleontologist for the United States Geological Survey. He was the 1979/80 Expeditionsmtglied the Ellsworthgebirgs Expedition of the United States Antarctic Research Program.
