Poker Flat Research Range

Poker Flat Research Range ( PFRR ) is a launch site for sounding rockets in Alaska, which is operated by the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska Fairbanks since 1968.

The Poker Flat Research Range has five launchers. There are numerous suborbital rockets, especially the types of Nike and Arcas were started since 1954.

The largest ever launched in Poker Flat rocket were of the type Black Brant XII.
