Polaris Industries

Polaris Industries Inc. is a car manufacturer based in Medina, Minnesota. The company was founded in 1954 and is especially known for the production of snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles. Under the Victory brand motorcycles are produced.

History

Polaris was founded by Edgar Allan and Hetteen and David Johnson and began in 1954 with the development and manufacture of snowmobiles. 1985 were included in the product range ATV (All Terrain Vehicles). One of the most famous vehicles of this class is the Polaris Sportsman. In 1992 the first Polaris Watercraft was produced and was sold in the 1990s.
