Police officer

The term police officer is a generic term for certain, working at the police officers.

When the German police may be the following occupational groups:

  • Police enforcement officer ( PVB)
  • Officials in the technical police service (eg Technical Police Office man) or administrative officials of the police (eg police Chief Secretary ). These designations are only available in some countries, eg in Berlin. In other countries, for example, Baden- Württemberg, the police administration has nothing to do with the police, which is already so the administrators reflected on the service name " Secretary of the Interior " to the police.

In Austria, the official or contract staff of the Federal Police fall into the group executive staff (EB).

Colloquially, the term police officer is also used for the agency officials who perform police duties or carry out tasks in the context of public safety and order. Examples:
