Makeup and guns ( Original Title: Police Woman ) is an American crime drama television series, created 91 episodes of 45 minutes each of the 1974 to 1978 in four seasons. In Germany, the series ran from 1988 to Sat.1, then later on Kabel 1 and DF1.

Action

Suzanne Anderson, named Pepper, and her partner Bill Crowley determine in Los Angeles covered for the Morality Police. They are supported by the detectives Pete Royster and Joe Styles.

Makeup and guns emerged as a spin -off of the series Police Story - Always on duty. Angie Dickinson as an undercover police officer - at that time still under the name Lisa Beaumont - was introduced in 1974, the decoy in the double episode. The role of Bill Crowley played here Bert Convy.
