Polideportivo Ejido

Club Deportivo Poli Ejido was a Spanish football club based in El Ejido.

History

The club was founded in 1969.

After many years in the Tercera División unterklassigen, Segunda División B as Polideportivo Ejido has played since 2001 only in the league just below the Primera División, so the Segunda División, until one in the 2007/ 08 season as relegation- 22. After enduring financial problems, the club went bankrupt in January 2012. After the dissolution of the association, some players and members founded the successor club Club Deportivo El Ejido in June 2012.

Poli Ejido played in light blue and white.

Stadium

The club played until its dissolution at the Estadio Municipal Santo Domingo, which offered 7870 spectators.

Achievements

• Rise in the " Segunda B" 1995/1996 and 1999/ 2000.
• Promotion to the Segunda División A 2000 /2001.
