Poliez-le-Grand

Poliez -le- Grand was a municipality in the district of Gros- de -Vaud in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Poliez -le- Grand closed on 1 July 2011 with communities Dommartin, Naz and Sugnens the new community Montilliez together.

Geography

Poliez -le- Grand is located 695 m above sea level. M., 2.5 km east of Echallens and 13 km north of the canton capital Lausanne ( straight line ). The scattered village extends on a plateau on the Northern Slope of the heights of the Jorat, in the eastern Gros de Vaud, in the Vaud Mittelland.

Population
