Election result
Election winner was the Alliance of Democratic Left Alliance ( SLD) and Union of Labour (UP), with 41.04 %, it was now the strongest force in the Sejm. In addition, three parties managed to enter parliament for the first time, including the self-defense of the Republic of Poland ( Self-Defence ), Law and Justice ( PiS) and the League of Polish Families (LPR ). This was a political earthquake the same because the Electoral Action Solidarity (AWS ), previously the strongest force and the Freedom Union ( UW) massive collapsed and the re-entry missed the Parliament.
( 2) For the German minority ( MN) did not apply the 5% electoral threshold.
