Polish Philosophical Society

Polish Philosophical Society (Polish: Polskie Towarzystwo Filozoficzne ) is a scientific society in Poland, founded in 1904.

The Company is engaged in the promotion of philosophical sciences, in particular ontology, epistemology, logic, methodology, ethics, history of philosophy and sociology. The Company operates in twelve offices in Olsztyn, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Lublin, Poznan, Szczecin, Toruń, Czestochowa and Warsaw, with a total of 800 members.

The company is the quarterly journal " Ruch Filozoficzny " ( Philosophical movement ) out. The Company is a member of the Association of National philosophical societies FISP (Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de Philosophie ). The post of chairman of the company dressed Władysław Stróżewski.
