Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN is a Polish science publishing.

The leading Polish publisher of literature, textbooks, encyclopedias and dictionaries was founded in 1951 as the State Publishing and privatized in 1992. He is the editor of the largest Polish encyclopedia in 30 volumes (up to 2003, 18 volumes have been published ). Similarly, in 2003 there was a publication of the revision of the Polish Universal dictionary of nearly 100,000 keywords. Since 1951, the publishing house published the " library of classical philosophy ", so far 194 volumes in the series have been published.

From 1957 to 2008, the Warsaw Mlodziejowski Palace was the seat of the publisher.
