Polish Sculpture Center
The sculpture center in Poland (Polish: Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej Orońsku w ) is a museum and sculpture park mainly of Polish sculptors in Orońsko in Mazovia.
History
The center was sculptor (1841-1915) founded in the former studio spaces of the painter Józef Brandt in 1965 and taken over and continued in 1992 by Jozef Brandt Foundation.
The center consists of
- A museum of sculpture with more than 600 works of art, including the work Ugun (from the series War Games ) in 1995 by the sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz,
- Studio spaces for ten sculptors in a former stable building,
- A sculpture park with 73 sculptures and installations by Polish and international artists.
