Pollok House

Pollock House (also Pollok House) is a manor house in Scotland and is situated in Pollok Country Park south of Glasgow's city center. It was designed in 1752 by William Adam and contains a collection of Spanish paintings, including paintings by El Greco, Goya, Murillo, and precious antiques.

Also on the grounds is the Burrell Collection, which can be reached in 10 minutes on foot or by shuttle bus. In the park there is a Sammlumg of over 1,000 species of rhododendrons.

The property was bequeathed in 1966 by the last owner Anne Maxwell Macdonald of the city of Glasgow. Her family had owned it for 700 years. Today it is managed by the National Trust for Scotland and open to the public.
