The Polonia Stadium (Polish: Stadion Polonii Bydgoszcz ) is a speedway stadium in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz. It offers 20,000 spectators and was inaugurated on August 3, 1924 under the name of Józef Piłsudski Stadium. Owner of the stadium, the club Polonia Bydgoszcz.

Speedway

Polonia Stadium Speedway section of the club Polonia Bydgoszcz carries out their race. In 1995 it was the venue for the Speedway World Team Championships since 1998 and will be held in the stadium of the Grand Prix of Poland in Speedway. In 2008, two Grand Prix races were held in the stadium in just one month. The Grand Prix of Germany was supposed to be held at the Veltins - Arena in Gelsenkirchen, had to be canceled due to the defective artificial track. Instead, a second race in Bydgoszcz was discharged.

Football

The football section of the club carries their games also from the Polonia Stadium. The team currently playing in the 5th Polish league. In the years 1954-1961, the club played in the Polish Ekstraklasa. 80th anniversary of the inauguration of a friendly match between the old men's teams of Poland and Germany was held at the Polonia Stadium.
