Polsat 2 International

Polsat 2 is a private Polish TV station.

Polsat 2 began its test broadcasts on 1 March 1997 as the second station of the Polsat Group. Initially there was the program only in films before we started a little later in the same year, to start in-house productions and programs for children and young audiences.

On 1 April 2000 merged with Polsat 2 Nasza TV to TV 4 Polsat 2 brand remained. Shortly thereafter, the information channel Polsat launched 2 info. However, this came in great criticism because it is not the rights possessed the broadcast material. Also, the digital package of Polsat Group was named Polsat Cyfrowy 2 ( Cyfrowy Polsat today ).

On 1 January 2001 Polsat was 2 again. Since then wore Polsat 2 the words " International". Repetitions of the station Polsat, TV4, TV Puls and Polsat Sport particular from now on the program. At night, Central European Time, the transmitter is addressed to the Poles in the United States, are shown for the self-produced programs.

On 4 October 2007 Polsat 2 received a new logo, design and programming schedule. Since then sends Polsat 2 without the " International " in its name.
