Polycaste

Polycaste (Greek Πολυκάστη ) is a person of Greek mythology.

Polycaste is a daughter of Nestor, Homer is given as her mother Eurydice, however, in the Libraries of Apollodorus Anaxibia. Her siblings are Peisidike, Perseus, Stratichos, Aretos, Pisistratus, Echephron, Antilochus and Thrasymedes.

In Homer she is called the youngest daughter of Nestor, the bathroom more prepared for the guests in Nestor Telemachus and dresses him about it. In later myth she appears as the wife of Telemachus, with whom she has the Son Persepolis.

In the Anthologia Palatina Telemachus and Polycaste are called parents of Homer.
