Polysome

As polysome or polyribosome is referred to the mRNA to be translated during protein synthesis in the cytoplasm of the alignment of many ribosomes. The ribosomes are either free in the cytoplasm prior to, or at the endoplasmic reticulum ( ER) bound, so that the finished protein is funneled into during the translation process in the ER. Polysomes are an expression of the mechanism of translation in which the same mRNA multiple virtually simultaneously, and therefore read by a mRNA molecule, many proteins of the same type can be produced.
