Polzela

Polzela ( German: Healing stone) is a municipality in Slovenia in the Greater Region Lower Styria.

The total community Polzela consisting of eight villages, located in the basin of Celje and has 5654 inhabitants (2008 ). In the capital itself Polzela 2375 people live.

Located in the city is the castle Komenda, mentioned in a document of Aquileia; on the northern outskirts of the village is the castle Senek / Schoeneck, first mentioned in 1288.
