The Pomeranian Medical University of Szczecin (Polish: Uniwersytet Pomorski medyczny w Szczecinie; Latin: Universitas Medicus Pomeraniensis ) is a Founded in 1948, Medical College in the Polish city of Szczecin ( Szczecin area) with four faculties and about 4,000 students. Rector of the institution, Prof. dr hab. n med Andrzej Ciechanowicz.

Cooperation with German private sector

With the Asklepios Kliniken agreed the PUM 2013, a new medical study program. It follows the German standards for medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and midwifery. The program includes three years preclinical, two years clinical courses and one year clinical internship. At 30 study places is expected taught from 2016 also in German into English.
