Pompeia (sister of triumvir Pompey)

Pompeia (c. 100 BC) came as a sister of the Roman triumvir Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus the Plebejergeschlecht the gens Pompeia. She was the daughter of the consul of 89 BC, Pompey Strabo.

Already 81 BC Pompeia was, according to the testimony of Plutarch, the wife of Gaius Memmius who waged war against Quintus Sertorius as treasurer of his brother Pompey in Spain, while 75 BC was killed. About Pompeia are otherwise no source information.
