Geography
Pontcharra is a municipality in the valley of Grésivaudan. The city center is 40 kilometers from Grenoble and 25 kilometers from Chambery. Neighboring municipalities are: Chapareillan, Allevard, Barraux, Laissaud, Le Cheylas, La BOUISSIERE, Saint -Pierre- d'Allevard and Saint-Maximin.
