Pope Dionysius
Dionysius (* unknown, † December 26 268) was Bishop of Rome, 22 July 260 to his death. Its name means " consecrated to Dionysus " (Greek. / Latino. ). The Church and Monastery of San Dionigi all Qattro Fontane and San Silvestro in Capite in Rome are dedicated to him.
Life and Teaching
Dionysius was probably born in Greece. After he had been elected by the persecutions of the Emperor Valerian 260, fell at his task, to reorganize the Roman Church, which was at this time in Chaos.
