Pope Stephen V
Stephen V (VI ) ( † September 14 891 in Rome) was pope from 885 until his death. The ancient Greek name means " the crown ".
He became Pope in December - without consultation with the East Frankish King Charles III. the fat man, who then fight the Saracens denied him support.
Stephen V then turned to the Duke Guido of Spoleto, the then most powerful princes of Italy. After the death of Charles III. he was forced to crown Guido of Spoleto emperor.
