Popkiller is the second studio album by the German synthpop duo Wolfsheim.

Emergence and Artwork

The album consists of twelve newly composed Wolfsheim songs. All songs on the album were written by the two Wolfsheim members Peter Heppner and Markus Reinhardt, Axel Ermes and Steffen Voges. Were produced all the tracks of Peter Heppner, Carlos Peron and Markus Reinhardt. The album was released under the label Strange Ways Records. The album contains a mix of electronic music, pop and synth. The cover of the album is decorated in black and white. The photo shows a portrait image of a man, which was drawn by Peter Heppner itself. The design has been made by the Company for the development of multimedia software mbH 4 = 1. Further image recordings come from Willi bars. Inside the CD an eight-page booklet is also included. In this booklet, all lyrics are included. The recordings of the entire album took place in aachener recording studio music design and in the recording studio Peron / Kostka studio in County instead.

Publication and Promotion

The first release of the album was held in Germany on 1 October 1993. Initially the album was only available as a CD, since the beginning of downloadable music, the album is also acquirable in jedlichen music download portals. The following year, Wolfsheim went to the Strange Ways Festival 1994 tour to promote the album and present.

Title list

In the song Tender Days are Wolfsheim, accompanied by the drummer of the band Dark Ruler, Ollie Orange. The song Gates has been included on the published 1989 Demo Any But Pretty. This album is a song called No Happy View included, this is exactly the same title as that of a year earlier published debut album No Happy View.

Singles

Even before the release of the album, the single was released Now I Fall on 30 August 1993. To date, Now I Fall is the only single from the album.

Strange Ways Festival Tour 1994

This list is an overview of the concerts were played at the Strange Ways Festival Tour 1994. This tour was a joint tour with Twice A man, The Cain Principle and Operating Strategies.
