Poppo of Grapfeld

Poppo ( I.) of grave field, probably from the Robertiner Cancor, Count in the Rheingau, descended, is the oldest documented sure took ancestor in the male line of the Franconian Babenberg. Therefore, this old noble family is also called Popp Onen. The Popp Onen or Frankish Babenberg can not be equated with the ( Austrian ) Babenbergers.
