Poppo of Treffen

Poppo of Aquileia or Wolfgang von meetings ( * before 1004, † September 28, 1048 ) was from 1019 to 1045 the Patriarch of Aquileia.

He is a son of Otakar IV, Count in Carinthia Kroatengau, of the tribe of Otakare. His brother was Count Ozinus in Zeidelgau.

During his tenure, the Basilica of Aquileia was built. He was a close confidant and adviser of Emperor Conrad II
