The station Poprad Tatry - ( Železničná stanica Poprad Tatry - ) is the main station of the city of Poprad in northern Slovakia. Through the station runs the double-track route Košice - Žilina and he is also one of the endpoints of the railway line Poprad - Plaveč. History

The station was opened on December 8, 1871 with the completion of the part of Poprad Zilina the former Košice- Berger train ( Ks.Od. ) and only four days later, with the commissioning of the part by Ves a through station. With the commissioning of the first part of that Popradtalbahn in 1889, the station was the railway junction.

The narrow connection to the High Tatras was made ​​on 20 December 1908 with the route Poprad - Stary Smokovec. The present form as a tower station was built after a renovation in the 1980s. The 858 million SKK expensive modernization and continuation of the restructuring in the 1980s was carried out in 2006-2007.

The railway infrastructure of the station is now the Železnice Slovenskej Republiky ( ZSR ). The trains are operated by the Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko ( ZSSK ).
