Popular Movement of the Revolution
The Mouvement Populaire de la Révolution (MPR ) is a nationalist party, the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It was founded on 17 April 1967, Joseph -Désiré Mobutu and explained by a constitutional amendment in 1974 to the unity of the state party. Your party program was officially capitalist and centrist. Even after the formation of a transitional government in 1990, coupled with the admission of other parties, the MPR was not until the fall of Mobutu in 1997 the dominant political force in the country.
