Pordenone

Pordenone (derived from the Latin Portus Naonis; Venetic and Friulian pordenon, locally Pordenún Slovenian, German Pordenone ) is the capital of the province and is located in the Friuli- Venezia Giulia. It has 51 378 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

The area has been inhabited since before 1000. Pordenone has a quaint historic town along the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II In addition, the city is an important industrial center of the region. Geography

History
