Port Kamsar

Kamsar a port city in the prefecture Boké Boké in the region in Guinea, about 175 kilometers northeast of Conakry is situated away. A railway line to standard gauge connects the bauxite mining in Sangaredi with the harbor in the mouth of the Rio Nunez. The largest employer in the city is the Compagnie des Bauxite de Guinée (CBG ). Kamsar is a planned city, which is completely powered by the CBG. The city has a continuously working water and electricity supply. One of the best hospitals in the country is located in Kamsar. Kamsar starting point of the National Road No. 20 René Caillié is started here in 1832 his journey to Timbuktu.
