Porte d'Ivry (Paris Métro)

Porte d' Ivry is an underground station of the Paris Métro. It is located below the Avenue de la Porte d' Ivry in the 13th arrondissement of Paris and is served by the southwestern branch of the Métro line 7 Ivry. There is an interchange with Line 3 of the Paris tram at the same aerial tram stop. The station is named after the place of the same name. In the vicinity is the Quartier asiatique.

History

The station was taken on April 26, 1931, in operation, as the portion of line 10 (line 7 today ) was opened by the station Place d'Italie to the station Porte d' Ivry. On the same day the lines of multiple lines in the south of Paris has been changed, in which the line 7 took the southern route of the line 10. Until 1 May 1946, the station south end of the line was 7 On 16 December 2006, the above-ground tram station went into operation.
