Porte de Vincennes (Paris Métro)

Porte de Vincennes is an underground station on Line 1 of the Paris Métro. It is located in the 12th arrondissement and the 20th arrondissement at the Cours de Vincennes.

The station was taken on July 19, 1900 opening of Line 1 as eastern terminus in operation. These perverted then at the Porte de Vincennes Porte Maillot section. The original plant had two central platforms within a turning loop.

With the extension of Line 1 to Château de Vincennes in 1934, the respective outer track troughs were filled, so that the U -Bahn station now consists of two broad, apart gerückten side platforms. The turning loop was shut down with the extension.
