Porte de Vincennes (Paris Métro)

Porte de Vincennes is an underground station on Line 1 of the Paris Métro. It is located in the 12th arrondissement and the 20th arrondissement at the Cours de Vincennes.

The station was taken on July 19, 1900 opening of Line 1 as eastern terminus in operation. These perverted then at the Porte de Vincennes Porte Maillot section. The original plant had two central platforms within a turning loop.

With the extension of Line 1 to Château de Vincennes in 1934, the respective outer track troughs were filled, so that the U -Bahn station now consists of two broad, apart gerückten side platforms. The turning loop was shut down with the extension.

Until the central station Châtelet there are about five kilometers. Since mid- 2008, the station has with the introduction of driverless operation on the line on platform screen doors.

It offers connecting flights to various bus and tram lines T3a and T3b.
