Portuguese real
The Portuguese Real, most Réis, was a historic unit of currency in Portugal. It was under King Peter I ( Peter I ) ( 1357-1367 ) at the same time introduced as the Spanish Real.
The Real replaced the reign of King Dionysius ( Dinis ) ( 1279-1325 ) introduced Tornez.
The currency was replaced in 1914 by the Portuguese escudo.
