Portuguese Rugby Federation

The Federação Portuguesa de Rugby is the national governing body for rugby union in Portugal. It was founded in 1926. In 1934 he was a founding member of the European Amateur Rugby Association ( FIRA ). Since 1988 he is member of the International Rugby Board. The Association is based Lisbon.

The association organizes the national championship ( Campeonato Nacional de Rugby) and the activities of the Portuguese national rugby union team.
