The term Dezisor ( Hebrew: " Posek " פוסק, Pl Poskim פוסקים " ) is referred to a Jewish scholar who has studied the Talmud and binding decisions ( Pessakim ) can be taken in the interpretation of religious laws that the Orthodox Jewish lifestyles ( Halacha ) concern.

A Dezisor puts his interpretation of the law either written down, as in the Mishneh Torah of Maimonides is an example of the case, for example, or formulates binding statements on specific issues, the so-called responsa. A number of rabbis and scholars of the Middle Ages and the early modern period led this honorary title.

Every Orthodox rabbi is designed such that it can perceive dezisorische functions as part of its community.
