Positive economics

The Positive Economics, a branch of political science as well as in economics, describes the current state of the economic process, without - as is the case in normative economics - to take into account value judgments or to provide solutions. "Positive" in this context means " the given ".

The value of a statement to that effect "positive" statement can be refuted by a review of their validity, for example, by statistical data.
