Possible Peru

Peru Posible is a political party in Peru. It was founded by Alejandro Toledo Manrique ( 2001-2006 Peruvian president).

The party took shape under the original name País Posible first part in the parliamentary elections of 1995. At the time she reached the in Congress with two deputies.

Then she changed her name. It participated in the elections of 2000. Prior to the second round, she moved with the accusation of fraud back through the Fujimori government and led by protest demonstrations.

After the fall of Fujimori's transitional government declared 2001 elections. It was the founder and chairman of Perú Posible, Alejandro Toledo, elected on the second ballot for president. In Parliament, Peru Posible reached as the strongest party 45 seats out of 120 and agreed to an alliance with the FIM (11 seats).
