Postal codes in Norway

The Norwegian postal code was introduced by the Postal Administration on 18 March 1968. It is a four-digit identifier that is set in the address of the mail always prior to the destination unabridged left. It is intended solely for the Verteilarbeit in the letter finish. The letter input is only recognized as a major post offices, an additional postal code has been allocated for the mailbox fetcher.
