Postcard Records

Postcard Records is an independent record label based in Glasgow, Scotland. It was founded in 1979 by Alan Horne. Although Postcard published only 12 singles and an LP in the eighties, it is now considered one of the most style-defining labels of the early eighties.

The first single released was "Falling and Laughing " by Orange Juice. Published on the label bands such as Josef K, Aztec Camera and the Australian Go-Betweens. 1981 Postcard went bankrupt. Horne called Postcard 1992 back to life and since published irregularly records.
