Analytica posteriora ( from Ancient Greek ἀναλύειν analyein " dissolve ", latin posterior " the rear "; Greek: Ἀναλυτικὰ ὕστερα Analytika hystera ) is the second analytics of Aristotle, the fourth copy of the so-called Organon and the second part of the Analytics. In the Analytica posteriora Aristotle takes his philosophy of science and develops a theory of definition.
